Grain Fonda is a passionate love affair between the most high-tech video editing and coloring tool of the modern age and the easily-degraded analog video tape of our childhoods. Grain Fonda is a VHS emulation PowerGrade for DaVinci Resolve, inspired by home movies, worn-out rental tapes, and giving the VCR a good whack to get a clear picture.
This PowerGrade is the result of about 4 years' worth of research, experimentation, captures, comparisons, and giving up on hundreds of dollars' worth of plugins that never "got it" quite right. Whether you're matching old archive footage, just want to make your new stuff more nostalgic, or just want to mess things up, this PowerGrade is for you.
Supports standard Rec709/arbitrary color formats, optimized for Log. Works in any aspect ratio.
